Can I use my email address for my students?
No, an email address may only be used by a single user. Students must have access to the email address used on their profile in order to set their password and retrieve their certificate.
If a student is changing their email address, do not create a new registration. Email addresses are the unique identifier for the account and more than one account will not sync information correctly.
Instruct the student to request an email address update:
Student can send a HelpDesk ticket or an email to certification@ipc.org
Include their name, old email and new email
The updated email will be ready to use within 24 hours.
We require all personal information updates to come directly from the owner of the account and not the trainer.
